Weekly Reading Groups

For each weekly meeting, be prepared to discuss an article of your choice on the topic indicated in the calendar.  Choose readings from the suggested sources:

or consult other appropriate sources.

Prepare some written notes before the discussion and bring them to class.  Use the format below on a 4"x6" card:

Author Last Name, FI. MI. (Year of publication). Title of article. Journal in which article was found, X(y), aa-zz.  [In which X is the volume number, y is the issue number, and aa-zz is the page range.]

On a week of your choice, substitute a report on one book from the bibliography for the note card.

Minutes will be collected in class immediately after the reading group discussion.  Group reports will be made immediately after the discussion.
