     We will look at representations of the classroom space of each placement to get an idea of where everyone is
     teaching

   2.Announcements and resources
     Recommended titles; journals and schedule survey

   3.Use of space
        a.Creating an inviting space for learning and interaction
        b.Awareness of environment and its relationship to management

   4.Taking on the teacher role
        a.Signs of authority
        b.Relationships with cooperating teacher/Routine for communicating
        c.Roles in relationship to other teachers and administrators
        d.Asking for responsibility

   5.Dissonances
        a.Identifying possible conflicts between university and field perspectives
          in reading, writing, language, speech, media, and classroom management
        b.What do do when there are dissonanaces

   6.Stories from the field
        a.What's "The Buzz"?
        b.Most puzzling or most exciting event

         Bring an example of an activity or strategy that worked for you in reading or writing instruction; be prepared
         to discuss assessment strategies in English
