parts of the session in the WITRC Center

Technical requirements:
  • A Java-enabled Web browser
  • (either Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or later or Netscape Navigator 4.7 or later)
  • Adobe Acrobat Reader
  • Microsoft Word 7.0 or later  (or Word Viewer)
  • A word processing program that allows you to save work in Rich Text Format (RTF)
  • 56 Kbps Internet Connection or faster recommended

Course syllabus and other information are available for downloading at the  Blackboard Course Site.  At that site, either login as a student or click the "Guest Access" tab.  Look for the "College of Education-400" heading, and under that, click on "Curriculum and Instruction."  Then click on "Curriculum and Instruction-430".  Then scroll down to the link for Issues and Perspectives in American Education. Click on that link.  For the syllabus, click on the "Course Information" link.  For details about the various units of study, click on "Course Documents."
