Opportunity at UW-Whitewater

We have all the standard ensembles that include trombone: Whitewater Symphony Orchestra, UWW Symphonic Wind Ensemble, UWW Concert Band, UWW Jazz Symposium, UWW Jazz Ensemble, UWW Jazz Lab, and The Warhawk Marching Band. Plus we also have a new jazz trombone group called The Trombone Zone (5 trombones plus rhythm section), and a wonderful trombone choir under the direction of Madison Symphony Orchestra bass trombonist Mike Allsen [I also play in the trombone choir...one always needs an outlet for alto clef!]. With brass choir, and a host of chamber ensembles you can see that there are plenty of playing opportunities that cover a wide range of styles for trombonists at Whitewater.
