The International Trombone Association is a fantastic resource and organization for any student of the trombone, be they active professional or studying in school. One of the great aspects of becoming a member of ITA is that you will receive the Trombone Journal.

The ITA Journal is an indispensable resource that is published quarterly. It is a high quality scholarly publication that includes articles, news, advertisements, and many other trombone resource opportunities. As a member of ITA, you will also receive information about the yearly ITF: International Trombone Festival: The International Trombone Festival is the world's largest festival for trombonists. This annual event has been held across the United States as well as in Great Britain (1989), Germany (1992), Austria (1996) and The Netherlands (2000).

ITA also sponsors regular scholarship and composition competitions and awards. And, as a member, you will also be given the opportunity to contact famous trombonists who have volunteered their time as an educational resource. AND, there are often free promotional CD recordings included in the ITA Journal!
