The Capitol Bones
Come to UW-Whitewater!

The jazz trombone band based
out of the Washington D.C. area, The Capitol Bones, will be performing a concert
at UW-Whitewater in Irvin L. Young Auditorium at 7:30pm on Tuesday, October 7.
The group is led by lead trombonist Matt Niess and has a wonderful repertoire of
modern jazz pieces for trombone and rhythm section. Many of the musicians
come from the
Army
Blues, the U.S. Army's premiere jazz band.
As part of their visit here,
members of the group will be conducting two clinic presentations that are open
to the public. The
