Hey guys what’s happenin'.  Mike Clobes of Racine, Wisconsin here.  I am a music performance major here at the great University of Wisconsin Whitewater with a huge emphasis on jazz.  I am a member of the Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps where I play the baritone bugle.  I also play trombone in the new brass band sensation The Kingpin Brass Band.  I am a member of many ensembles here on campus and could tell you so many reasons to come to Whitewater but there are too many.  Instead I will tell you why not to go somewhere else.  The biggest reason is experience.  The experience that first year students get at other schools is  limited because of the number of students and time that faculty members have to work with first year students.   On the other hand at a school like Whitewater the experience that first year students get is huge.  Not only that, but the faculty have an amazing amount of talent and experience to share.  So I wish you luck in your future and hope to see you here at the great University of Wisconsin Whitewater.  Keep practicing.
