Wisconsin English Journal

Published since 1959 by WCTE, Wisconsin English Journal has provided members with thoughtful and timely articles on a variety of topics related to the improvement of instruction in all the English language arts, at all levels of education.  Wisconsin English Journal has printed a variety of writing, including

·         Reports of classroom research

·         Reflections on teaching

·         Descriptions of effective teaching methods

·         Profiles of school and district English programs

·         Reviews

·         Policy statements

·         Editorials

·         Conference proceedings

·         Letters

·         On occasion, poetry and other artistic writing

Wisconsin English Journal emphasizes writing by educators in Wisconsin, but frequently publishes the work of writers from other places.  Though the editors gladly accept unsolicited manuscripts for review, potential contributors should watch this space or the pages of Wisconsin English Journal or WCTE Update for periodic announcements of themes for special issues.
