Course Title: Artists and Exiles; LSINDP 491/691 or FREN 491 (3 credits)
Course Meets: Tuesday nights 6:15—8:45 p.m. (Room TBA)
Course Description: This course explores Paris from a cultural and historical perspective,
with particular attention to the expatriate experience during the early to mid-20th century.
Texts used in the course include Hemingway's A Moveable Feast.
Travel Portion: May 16-26, 2012 (10 days)
Price Includes: Round-trip airfare, double-occupancy hotel accommodations,
breakfast, two dinners, a museum pass, a metro pass, guided tours
and shuttle from the airport to the hotel (in the Latin Quarter).
