Welcome to Hien Nguyen's homepage!

I am a new assistant professor at the Department of Mathematics and Computer science of the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. I have recently graduated from Computer Science and Enginering Department at the University of Connecticut (UCONN). Prior to joining UCONN, the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) is the place I have called home for 3 years.

I am interested in the user modeling for information retrieval. Specifically, I would like to capture the user search behaviors and use this information to help users improve their performance in an information seeking task.
