As always, the goal of UWW's Darwin Day is to show why evolution matters--specifically, to illustrate how valuable Darwinian thinking can be in addressing significant societal challenges, for example in medicine. Wisconsin High School Biology Teachers, Principals, Librarians and PTO members are warmly invited to attend; this year's talk is also likely to be of special interest to health professionals.

For more information contact Jeffrey S. McKinnon, Biological Sciences, UW-Whitewater: mckinnoj@uww.edu

The lecture is part of a coordinated Wisconsin Darwin Day outreach program, also featuring events at UW-Madison and UW-Milwaukee (links below or coming soon). We are building up to Darwin's 200th birthday in 2009 and a statewide celebration!
