Drs. Chan (Biology and Chem), Harrahy (Biology), and House (Chem) were awarded the Merck/ AAAS Undergraduate Science Research grant in 2009 in the amount of $106,500 for three years. 

Dr. Veldkamp received a three-year, $334,633 Academic Research Enhancement Award from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) in 2011.

 

Dr. Ejnik recently received a grant from WiSys Technology Founda

tion and Wisconsin Small Company Advancement Program (WiSCAP) in the total amount of $205,926.

Dr. Chan (P.I) received a LEEF award from Li-COR Corp company and the UWW Strategic Initiatives award in the amount of $109,110. Congratulations!!!

Research Proposals Were Funded

his Ph.D. in from the UW-Milwaukee in 1996.

Dr. Menke joined us in Spring 2010 as an Academic Staff. She is now rehired as an Assistant Professor in Fall 2011. She got her Ph.D. from UW-Madison in 2010.

Dr. Veldkamp joined us in Fall 2009 as an Assistant Professor. He got his Ph.D. from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 2006.

Dr. Ejnik joined us in Fall 2008 as an Assistant Professor. He received
