| Jade Pavilions Oriental Import House specializes in hand-made arts and crafts. We have representatives traveling the Orient, finding works of genuine artistry to sell to our U.S. customers. To us, "genuine artistry" connotes something special. Our products are all hand made by craftspeople and village artisans, many of whom are heirs to a generations-long heritage of skill and workmanship nonpariel. When we buy products, it is with the aim of supporting these native Asian artisans and craftspeople. Jade Pavilions take extra care to ensure that we neither buy nor sell any goods that are the product of exploitative labor practices. We seek to foster communal independence by promoting local culture rather than by commercializing it. |
| Our product line includes such traditional Oriental offerings as a variety of chopstick sets, carved elephants, rice jars, and umbrellas. Explore our bags and wallets -- many make excellent party gifts for young girls. A gift sure to earn gratitude is our Scarf/Glove box in black enamel with gold decoration. |

| | We offer a very selective line of silks that are simply amazing: silk scarves that scintillate at the touch in all sorts of colors, patterns, and styles, silks shawls that wrap around and flatter nearly any ensemble, silk runners that serve as either decorative apparel (Asian men often wear them as sashes) or a fabulous table runner. Take a look at our most elegant silk product, the Doi Bui silk patchwork quilt that never fails to gather numerous compliments. |
